LAKE BUCHANAN: Water clear; 70 degrees; 1018':
Largemouth are good in 5'-12' using Rainbow Trout Snap Back jerkbaits (www.terminatorlures.com) on a 1/32 oz Bait Jerker hook(www.falconlures.com), watermelon/chart. Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) or Senkos & white Terminator buzzbaits at first light. Texas rigged rootbeer Bush Pigs or Brush Hogs and watermelon/red craw tubes are producing in buckbrush, stumps and brushpiles along breaklines. Split shot rigs w/a watermelon/red Craw Fish Jr. (www.slidingweight.com) are still producing quality fish along ledges of bluffs Stripers are fair in 28' of water bottom trolling white/chart. Hyper Striper jigs (www.kgenterprise.com) and tight-lining live bait. Early AM topwater action on Bleeding Shiner Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com) & chrome Berkley Top Water Walkers.
