Default Jigs and Spinnerbaits

What kind of trailers do you use on your spinnerbaits? Curly tail grubs?

On a jig like this with rattles...

what do you use and how do you fish it and where?

What should I pay attention to now that the weather is getting cold?

Thanks.

For spinnerbaits: In muddy or low light conditions i will use a double tail grub so that im moving a lot of water and giving off a lot of vibrations. For stained water i might or might not use a non-action trailer, just let the fish decide that one. In clear water i dont use a trailer, you want a smaller, fast moving profile.

with jigs,i am no master, but try basic crawfish colors like black and blue in off colored water and green pumpkin in clearer water. hopping got me fish last month, but also try swimming.shakeing in place, and ripping it off the bottom. talk to pig n jig,he's the master with jigs. i like to concentrate on the only grass beds that are left, normally the deeper ones, they seem to die last, and the bass will be hanging there until it dies. i like to use a carolina rig to find the grass beds, then use a fluke over it and a texas rig all around it. what i look for is cover on cover,if you can find a grass bed on the end of a long point, then that is a really good spot to catche alot of bass from.
