look great dam watch out where the line tie is though they pick up dead stuff on the bottom easily like that. it would prolly work better if you could recess the line tie a little. but that design will definatly work looks good man.

You may want to cut the spring in half. Holds bait on as well as a full sized spring and the bait goes on easier.

I fish alot of tree tops with my spot removers, always have a problem with the big head getting wedged. Wonder if you could taper the head inwards towards the hook eye, similar to Manns Stone Jig?

isn't the hook to straight up?i would think a 45 degree angle would be best.

Looks great to me. have you tried fixing the spring to the line tie, so it could swivel out of the way during hookset?

hey guys, I guess I didn't carefully choose my words, still working on it meant that I've not had them in the water, picked the final coil, decided on colors, etc! I pretty much pour the mold, can't change anything. They're not perfect, but at the price of the molds, I left it alone!
They are 1/8 and 1/4oz., 4/0 Mustad Ultra Point red or Black Nickel hooks, stainless steel keeper, and powder painted, then oven cured to set it. I do sell them, well, will be very, very soon, as well as larger sizes, up to 1/2oz. They will be available from me directly at my site, and on eBay. I appreciate the interest and the suggestions, I'm looking to do another shakey head mold soon, gotta save up a bit more, and will take these into consideration! |

When they sink do they stand up like that or you just took the picture that way?every shakey head i've seen the hook is flat on the bottom and the coil sticks out at 45 deggrees so the bait sticks out at 45 degrees and the tail floats up.
