Default Assult Bass Lures

I was just checking the sponsor links and checked out Assult Lures , they have what I believe to be crazy low prices on jigs and plastics , I think I am reading those prices right 1000 ct. Salt Stix for $29.99 ?? this seems wrong somehow.. is that correct ? Has anyone used this brand before ?

Its assalt.com, and yes they do have some rediculous closeout prices. I got 12 lbs. (600 pieces) of spider grubs for 30.00 including shipping. From what i understand the company may have changed hands and they are selling some of the things that the new owner doesnt plan to produce or have overstocked, or whatever.

Here is the link to the closeout page

He is correct, they are here

I would recommend trying them before commiting to 1000 though, all sticks are not created equal!

OH and PNJ, megabait went out of business because of legal issues over copying someones design, but my understanding is that it wasn't the swimbait that got them in trouble. Either way, they are no longer in business and ebay is the only place I have seen them lately. I know there are a lot of the smaller 3 and 4" versions listed right now there.

Yep,I make mistakes. I looked at the regular prices instead of the closeouts. Thank you for the info, Cullins, I am glad I got dozens of the Megabait brand swimbaits.I don't know whether to go with something simular, or step up to a Huddleston swimbait and see if I can catch a monster ? P N J

I want a hud really bad, but can only imagine my luck the first 2 lb fish that bites it tearing it up and bam, there goes my $40.00. The new Bass Harrasser looks interesting, and Tackle Warehouse has some ragos marked down to 14.99 that i might try as well. Right now my trusty BBZ-1 has been my mainstay, but I haven't been swimbaiting very long. I just picked up a new rod and reel suited for the job of the really heavy baits, and now I feel like I need a lot more swimbaits lol.
