Well, if you're a person who believes in the bible, you're apt to believe in Armaggedon. Whether this will happen in our live time, is a very good question. I haven't given the end of days alot of thought, but as I have already mentioned here in this forum , I do believe that we are living in an age where the overall population of the United States is unaware and or passive in thought regarding the direction in which our leaders are taking us. We live in a new era of highly guarded and scary technology, and worst of all, we live in a atmosphere of fear and mistrust. For the sake of convienence we have given up alot of the controls we used to have over our own life. We now have electronic banking, where at any moment one's entire live savings could be accessed and or confiscated. We have electronic voting machines that have already been found to be subject to hacking and even worse, hijacking, meaning we don't get the official we voted for. Yes sir, the times they are a changing, and not for the better in my opinion. We used to see shows on TV like Leave it to Beaver and Father Knows Best, but now we got The Sheild and 24.

Not that long ago you could jump in the car and drive down the road without a seat belt on if you chose too, but not today. Now days you have to pay a fee or tax for alot of things that where free 25 yrs ago. We the population are being taxed and controled by almost every form of authority there is. Sure we still have some freedom at this point, but......it's bound to get worse if we don't wake up and look at what's going on around us. For years we have been fighting wars that are directly related to controling resources and not for the protection of our freedoms or way of life. We have allowed the powers that be to control our lives for us and we have allowed this to happen without contest or protest. We let the major media tell us whats' going on and accept what they say as gospel. We are fools.

All this is not good for the general population and will almost certainly mean more police and more domestic control. I see a real possibility of the loss of the freedoms everyone of us enjoys at this time. I do believe that if we do not focus on our local and national governments, then the future will not be a happy one for those of us who are around and will have to live in it, and to me that would be a real precursor of Armaggedon
