lake hartwell sc

hey guys anyone fish in south carlonia? coming down in march sometime, any help would be greatly appercitated. mount

I do! I have a tourney the 18th at Lake Murray,I also fish Hartwell,Thurmond(aka Clarks Hill),and Russel is one of my favorites. My boating partner caught a 6-12 on a 1/2 ounce silver rattletrap,I usaully do pretty good on flukes and 6'' worms there. I love Murray though,you should check that lake out while you are down here. I havent fished Santee-Cooper,but I have heard it is awesome. I think I will be able to get up there in late april,I cant wait! Let me know how ya did,and tell me where you are going,I might could help you out some more.

even thou i live n wv i also fish murray. have caught several 5 lb's out of there. also i wieghted a 9lb 6 oz hog for a guy from oh last spring. my wife has a aunt who lives close by so we come down several times a year. put in down at dam and fish that area a lot. mount. which end of hartwell do u think is the best? thanks mount
