Default South Florida Report

Here are a few of the nicer largemouth I have caught recently. With the recent cold fronts, I haven't seen to many peacocks.

Most have been coming on senkos, with a few on red shad culprit worms.

2 pounds 2 ounces

2 pounds 14 ounces

2 pounds 8 ounces in the canal behind my house

Here is a snook my dad caught on fly when we went to Flamingo...
about 25 inches

Nice bass. Caught them bedding?

Whats that snook about a 24 incher?

I wish I lived closer to Flamingo. What a cool oasis. Although Im moving to the Jupiter area in a week. LOTS of snook fishing there.

I was casting senkos up against lilly pads in one spot and rip-rap inanother. It looked like the biggest fish was bedding, I don't think the 2 1/2 pounder was bedding, and I don't know about the other one. Thebassmaster123 caught a 2 1/2 pounder on my boat today. The cold fronts passed, so I was itching to get out, and sure enough he got a decent one. I will try to get the pic up here if he doesn't post it.

Oooooh, Jupiter is a sweet little fishin paradise. I've got some family in Boynton, and we occasionally fish Jupiter when there's a tournament out of the Boynton inlet.....

Jupiter is a gold mine. But its so big that a lot of people have no idea where to look for fish. Im just glad they all hug the inlet like thats the only place fish are...keeps them out of my way. So many snook.

Ill only have to drive 3 miles now to get to the beach. As compared to 30 before.

My best day ever was casting a Yozuri off the beach. I landed 8 all of them 28"s or larger (out of season though). I have pics of them somewhere.

Boynton is a little harder to fish, but, live shrimp with a 1/4oz split shot is enough to get it below the bait and in the snooks face. I normally catch smaller fish there though.

Haha, awesome. I'm going to take a trip up there sometime soon. I have noticed that the peacock are burrowed up though, their not even hitting live shiners anymore. :O
