Spawning months vary from region to region. Bass usually start spawning when the water temp is 60 to 65 degrees. You can't pinpoint a day bass will spawn, weather condiditons play a big role, and bass may or may not spawn the same time every year. Remember, not all bass on one lake may spawn at the sametime, so various patterns could take place.
Look for spawning areas to be in coves not to far from there wintering grounds. But if good spawning cover isn't there, few fish might spawn in that cove. You best bet is to find a wind proctected cove with good cover and a good firm bottom. Good luck and good fishin |

You are looking to make an appointment with spawning bass? About all you didn't request was an hour.
There are too many variables to answer your question. Where are you? What is the water temperature? The short answer on the water temp is this. If the air is warmer than the water, the water will warm up. If the air is cooler than the water, the water will cool. And unless there are more than one of you, you are fishermAn dan. |

Note tha even though bass will typically be spawning at certain temps, they don't necessarily follow these rules strictly. Sometimes bass will begin to spawn way early, and sometime they will spawn way late. This time last year in lakes down in kissimmee, most bass were still in prespawn.
