Hey! You left out the "EAT MORE POSSUM!", done in riveted-on LEGOs, on Zooker's back and the "I (heart) Wm. T. Sherman", done in blue semi-worthless gemstones, on Reb's...errr..."transom".
Wanna see my 'Nam tattoo? Usually sez "RFCAUSA". With a little...uhhh..."encouragement", however, it turns into "Rod, Fly, Captain, Armor, United States Army." Sorry, *Ladies only!

Rod, Fly

*Hillary, Rosie, and those of that ilk need not apply.

The one with the nipple peircings looks like he'd make a great mall security guard, or maintenance man for a section 8 housing athority.

These people are without a doubt "IDOITS". Or as on some might say, "LOSERS". I just can't understand this stuff, the only thing I can think of is "I NEED ATTENTION", and I'm will to destroy my body to get it.

most think of it as art, it is cool in some aspects but those people went a little overboard on the peircings and stuff. JB has some tattoos on his leg doesnt he? he posted pictures of them i think a while back. a peircing or two is ok but 20 on your face is too much

unfortunately I see many like this, come in and fill out an application, even sued by one for discrimination once for not hiring them. I know that today at 45 y.o., I think very differently now than I did when I was 18 y.o. and in the Navy. But more importantly, it wouldn't of mattered if I was 18 or 30, my Dad would have knocked some sense in me in any case. In some ways I feel very sad for them, they are tossing out many opportunities life has to offer, employment, friends, family ect....It isn't right to judge, but the truth is we do, that is the harsh reallity.

I think that the reason that they will never land good jobs has less to do with their appearance than in what that appearance reflects about them as people. If you are stupid enough to do that to yourself, and you do not care that you look like a moron, why on earth would any business trust you with their money?
In addition, most business employees have at least some interaction with the public. Now if you work at a music store that caters to college students, you may fit in a bit more than if you try to sell stocks or real estate.

hell i would hire them in a second....i mean hey it shows what great decision making skills they have, and also it shows how well they will conform to the corporate enviroment.....yeah right.

I myself have 4 tatoos...left bicep, U.S.M.C, right bicep, american flag(with 9/11 banner) right forearm, a wrap of barb wire, gotten after pow mia training, and under my left arm, slightly lower than arm pit area, my blood type...O+. They each mean something to me, and were significant moments in my life.....To me they are priceless.....this piercing crap is just plain ole dumb....if god wanted more holes in my body hed a put em there....god knows enough other people have tried to....

Lizard - it's very simple.....it's called SHOCK VALUE!!!!.... look at every decade and remember what was shocking. Think about rock n' roll for example. Let's start with your post Elvis favorite...Alice Cooper and then move forward KISS (70's), Ozzy(80's), Metal (80's), Punk rock(late 80's), etc, etc and then you see what is shocking today...Goth and Marilyn Manson.
Pretty much explains TV, Movies, News, and Society today. It has to be shocking or it isn't worth the time or $$$$$.

Of course, just my opinion.

Valid point, and taken. I really try not to be judgemental(seriously). But there is just a line that gets crossed that's too much for me. I remember the cloths I wore back in High School were different from the past. I realize the music I listened too was weird to some older folks. I even understand half the guys nowadays have a earing or 2. It doesn't mean I'm gonna go get any earrings though, especially all over my pretty face You are correct it's shocking .
