Default weekend fishing report (pix)

i planned on possibly doing some fishing. i decided to ask my friend if he wanted to fish and he said yea and that we could use his boat. we decided to hit leoport lakes first and pond hop in that area. within 30 minutes, my friend boated the first one and i lost one and we had a few bites. the fish were teasing me by not taking the hook. i lost at least a dozen fish. right as i was getting frustrated, i hooked a decent 1 1/2 pounder on a senko by skipping it under a bush. my friend ended up with 3 or 4 and i ended up with one. we hit a new lake today called pumping station pond, and we did good. i caught 2 and my friend caught the big one of the day. mine were about a pound (12 inches) and a little over 2 pounds (16 1/2 inches) and his fish was a nice 2 pound 6 ounce bass...i also lost a fish within 15 minutes of bein there. it was a good weekend and it felt good to catch my first of the year.

Default Hey mack

What wa the temperature/ weather? Here in Central NY my ponds are still iced! Some lakes are icing out now but without a boat that makes for tough fishing!

not quite sure what the water temperatures were but i know that when we were fishing, the air temp was 45 - 50. i was down in cape may county which has been getting 60 degree weather lately. the first day of fishing was right after morning rain. the second day was partially cloudy with strong wind.
