Default New guy from Pennsylvania

Just wanted to say high. I been sign up for a little bit but this is my first post. My name is James. I am married to a great lady that loves to fish also. I fished bass all my life but I never did it hard (really get into it). I would go after Catfish and Trout. Well this year I am going to fish for bass a lot more . Get into it more. I know a lot because I have fish for bass all my life but I also have a lot to learn because I never really got into it until this year. I hope to learn alot and in the process make new friends. Thanks for a great site.

Greetings from the Lone Star State. Does your nickname indicate a desire to emigrate to Texas? Wow! Someone coming SOUTH to Texas...whatta concept! Probably legal and everything.
In any event you and your bride are welcome here AND in Texas, so long as you remember to press "Juan" for eengleesh.
I'm sure I speak for all of us here on the board when I say "Please bring a truckload of Rolling Rock(TM) and some Philly Cheesesteak Sammiches with you."
Say "Hi" to Joe Pa and the Nitwittany Lions for us

Thanks everyone for the nice words. For people that asked about my name (paLonestar). I lived a big part of my life in Texas and will always call it home (I do love Pennsylvania though). I was born in El Paso, Texas (Father was in the Army) and lived there for a while. Then I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After high school and some college, I moved to Dallas area for two years. Got married to a great lady and moved to Baytown, Texas (just east of Houston). My wife grew up as a kid in Pennsylvania and wanted to come back to live. I like it up here so I said ok. But again, I was always be a Texan at heart.

Hello fellow Pennsylvanian,

My first job out of school was in Lancaster. I lived there for a few years before moving to Malvern and then Morgantown. Anyway, good to have you with us.

Are you a member of The Pen Navy Armada yet? They will decend on Susky Flats in the next week. I believe the muster point is Ele's bait shop for cut herring. From what I have heard from friends in the area that the Pen Navy is very large and diverse in craft. The most common craft is the tri-hull I hear.

Welcome and have fun..
