We are back to doing trips on a daily basis, and have been for the last three weeks. However, since my surgery on January 26th we have done 44 trips between the Stick Marsh, and Ansin/Garcia.
I would be terribly remiss if I did not take this opportunity to thank Don Willis, Steve P, and my son Scott for the tremendous assist that they have given with the trips and showing clients some fantastic time on the water. Don Willis filled in for me during the week days for 4 solid weeks and I can never repay his kindness for those assists. Steve P. helped out with any double trips that we had and I can't thank him enough, and Scott has filled in on every weekend since the surgery giving me the much needed rest that I needed. In almost every case these assists have come with no remuneration other than the much appreciated tips from our faithful clients. Thanks guys, I can't say enough for your generosity. Without your assistance, this guy would be in a pretty sad state. For those that know, I had open heart surgery and am doing very well in my recovery. The fishing in both lakes has been up and down and I also need to thank the many clients that have stood by me through this ordeal. Your patience and understanding through all this has been very much appreciated. Garcia has been the better fishery through most of this period from the standpoint of weather. Wind has been a constant companion and Garcia at least affords some protection and has provided some decent days of fishing. See you out there. Tomorrow with the weatherman's prediction, the Marsh is the destination. I have put up a lot of pictures on my pages, (Feb - March), which needs to be sorted. Medication has been playing a bit of a game so a recap by customer's name isn't there but you all know who you are. Again, a most heartfelt thanks to the many clients that have worked with me.

Glad to hear your recovering, and I didn't know you were down. I haven't used your services yet, but always enjoy your posts. And you even helped out with some advice for us when we were planning our trip down to the Marsh for free which was extremely generous of you. You have my prayers, and hope your out there showing your clients where those double digit hawgs are for a very long time.

I was wondering why you werent posting reports anymore. Good to hear your ok.
I heard both lakes are really weedy right now. As in the only lure you can use is a plastic worm.

Jason,
No weed on the Marsh - lots of weed on Garcia: 55 bass to 6.5 pounds today on the Marsh using Senko swim worm.

By the way we stomped fish yesterday also (in west palm). Ten fish in about 3 hours, and about half of them were in the 4 to 5 lbs range. Biggest was 5.4 and missed a bigger one on top water. I think there all post spawn and starving....seems like theyll hit anything right now.
