				 | Yet more rain!

Sounds like a cow pissing on a flat rock out there. This has been the wettest Spring in recent memory and we've had not one 90F temp day so far in '07. By this date last year ('06, for the sequentially challenged) we'd had at least thirty days of 90F or higher. Looks like more "mudlines" for Canyon and Medina, possibly Travis as well. For some reason, though, I love this weather. Of course, I don't have to be anywhere at any given time. Sorry that it had to occur during morning rush hour and that many nearby counties are facing flood issues. Stay dry! FR |

We just got a little last night and boy was it nice. It's so dry right now I can barely work w/o getting fifty billion dirt bugers. Actually I gotta go back to work now since that's what I'm supposed to be doing!

Yeah its dryer than salted sandpaper out here in Alabama. All the lakes are really down and we're coming up on our normal dry season. :0-(

Hate this rain, the lake finally gets somewhat clear and we get another rain storm which floods everything and its dirt black again. Last year this time, had 15+ visibility.. I would love that now.

At least five dead so far, area-wide . One swept into a storm drain, an elderly couple whose vehicle was swept away, two kids in a vehicle, a man alone in a vehicle...who ignored the barricade. FR |

Radar indicates more on the way. Within an hour, I'd estimate, but not so fully "loaded" so far, when compared to yesterdays images. Appears will gain as it enters and passes to the NE. On the bright side, it might hit Austin(k) just right and wash the WrongWhorns away...wonderful! NO more bright brown jerseys, no more flying uterus on the side of the helmet. And a very Boomer Sooner to you all! FR |

It's fun though, 'cause I sit in a second story window and "track 'em" with the Leupold 2.5x8 mounted on my Browning BAR .270. Every now and then I whisper "BOOM"... We got pounded again last evening and it was pretty stout for a while. According to the radar, we may be "blessed" again soon, although most seems to be on a track to the south of SA. An autopsy revealed that Reb's lawn did NOT die from dehydration. Where Scruffy "go's", nothing grows. FR | |

[QUOTE=FlyRod;156627]Well, since I live in a condo, I get to watch illegal immigrants mow the lawn. It's fun though, 'cause I sit in a second story window and "track 'em" with the Leupold 2.5x8 mounted on my Browning BAR .270. Every now and then I whisper "BOOM"... That's funny, I was just doing the same with the chinese guys who live in my neighbors basement and work at the restaraunt he owns - Except all I have in my arsenal; is my son's super soaker... i suppose mailing me that Browning for a weekend would be illegal... Damn postal regulations!

Lake "O" about to reach new record for the lowest water level. My grass crunches under foot, not supposed to wash the damned love bugs off my truck, I pee on a tree and it says thank you. Sorry for any death or injury, but I sure would love some of that rain.
