Default Mississippi Spots

I live in Columbia, MS and usually fish local ponds/small lakes out of my 10 ft jon boat. I recently purchased a Fisher Pro Hawk 180 and would like to start fishing some bigger lakes in MS. Anybody got any info on good spots? Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!!!

First look up your state's Dept. of Game and Fish. Also the Walmart's around here have awesome books of maps that show hot spots on lakes and stocking and sampling info. Someone here will give you some links that will help.

I've never fished down your way any, so I've got no idea, really. Maybe this'll help you find some good info. This same site also has a forum on it, too. Good luck.
