need some advise on 84 bass tracker

Need some advise on a bass boat for sale - its a 84 bass tracker TX tounament w/ 50 hp motor - the guy selling it tells me he's enjoyed it for about a year - he originally bought it from someone who hardly used it - he wants $2,600 - I am new to bass fishing - looking for some advise / thanks

Take her for a test run, check the hull for leaks, check the deck for warpage, make sure the motor starts easy and runs good. Either take a look over the motor, or have a friend who knows a lot about mechanics check it out for you. If it's all good, 2600 is a pretty good deal.

fl is kinda right.. i would take it to a local boat mechanic and have him check it throughly out.. it is well worth the $200 to have them check it over..do this BEFORE money changes hands..and tell the guy your buying it from that this IS the only way you WILL buy it NO EXCEPTIONS.. if every thing is up to snuff he wont say no. but if he's trying to hide something he will likly back down from the sale..

sounds like your being a dick but trust me. it is better than having to drop some big money into a all ready exesting problem..

I have split many of those hulls. Fill it with water plug in and see if it leaks mid section center.. Bet it will.
