Default Mid-week Anna

Found 86-87 degree water temps around the 208 bridge. Fished the backs of a couple small creeks and worked my way out. Caught or missed some 8-10" bass on crankbait, topwater, and pnj. Little guys were smacking the RICO as soon as it hit the water or very shortly after. A lot of hits on the Fat CB too. One picked up the Spring Craw and wrapped me around a dock piling. I saw him and didn't set the hook.
T-storms expected tonight so I may or may not get back out. Will probably run up lake a little ways and see what's biting and figure out where the better fish are hiding .

Found them but had difficulty getting them to hold on to the bait!!!! Caught two in shallow dirty water of all places. Caught a 4 and a 2+ off of a dock in less that 2' of water. Missed another off of a laydown in 4-5'. Fish were picking up the creature bait and moving with it. I'd set the hook and come up empty. On one hook set I got my bait back with both side flaps missing . Normally this happens when a small fish grabs one flap and tears it off but both at the same time??? Water temps were in the mid 80's and due to the recent t-storms the dirty/stained water was found in the backs of the shallow creeks.
