Lil overkill IMOP

Some guy came in one day at work and spent 1600 dollars on bass lures and stuff to go to Canada for 3 days.....lil overkill imop.

yeah...well up there its pretty much you can fish a grub....senkos a topwater ...like a buzzbait or popper and a spinnerbait and catch fish all day long.

Money is all relative, maybe this guy had the money to burn. To some people that 1600 is like 16 to you and me. Must be nice.....

as far as im concerned you cant spend enough on fishing. i am by no means well off. i strugle week to week but i will buy $30 fishing lures on occassion. the thing that made me start doing this is I thought if all lures cost $30 would i still pay that to go fishing. and that was no brainer. it just really sucks when you break one or loose one.

When you consider people pay well over $50k for a boat, $1600 isn't too bad. All in one shot is a little out of the ordinary I guess. I never spent that much in one shot but I probably spend more than that over the course of a year.
