Hey guys, I hear all this hype about Dampeoples Jigs, lures, baits, etc. What is so cool about them? Can I get their website?

Well I will say this about Peoples Choice...

I think most of his stuff is pretty good quality....I had an issue with the paint coming off all of his jigs that I ordered with limited use....but most of the stuff has been good quality.

I will however blast him with this. I sent him crankbaits back in May of this year to paint because he actually offered to do so. I let him go because I knew he had been busy and had some personal issues going on....but still to this day no crankbaits. He now doesn't respond to IM's or emails I send him and ignores me when I post topics on forums he often goes to.

Personally anyone that would steal anything from you.....I would stay far far away from. Take the warning and do with it what you will. I personally will never do business with Sterling or advise anyone to ever again.

Yeah it is odd. I was working with him to sell his baits and I did make him a decent amount of cash.....and I bought stuff from him as well. I don't know what his problem is but he won't get any referrals or money from me again.

Good if you talk to him ask him what happened there....I would actually like a response some day. If he lost them then thats fine.....I am ok with that and would have been if he told me that straight out but ignoring me won't make it go away....he could have just said that. If he took them for his own use then thats just wrong.

Talking

I don't think sterling has posted much more than 6-7 times since pnj called him out for his poor selection of jigs to paint, as well as some of the paint jobs...all were free I think, but it left a sour taste in dampeoples mouth about the forum and its members IMO

Just a few weeks ago he said he's been working and lurking

..this may be just the job for new superhero diaper man, maybe HE can get your lures back to ya!

Hi,

Let's clear some things up, shall we?

lunker-lander - Hi, I'd be glad to help you with anything you need.

lizards - thanks man, how's your job going? Thought a few times to get up with you, but forgot

spego - Well dude, it's like this, we decided to do a 'pro-staff' thing, and I reluctantly agreed, against my better judgement. You seemed excited and all, and that was cool, even made like 2 sales, the first, which you only made because you got some of your fishing buddies a deal. That's cool, though, I enjoy helping other folks out. The problem started when every time I spoke with you, it was always I want this, I want that. Hell, i got an email from you one day with a picture of a bait, and all the mail said was 'paint this'. Am I your *****? YOU were supposed to help me, not constantly ask for ****. People get tired of beggars after a while man. On your baits, they're right here. I was gonna paint them, but after the constant asking for stuff, I decided not to. I told you I would paint them when I got time, asking me a lot isn't gonna give me more time, it's wasting what little I have. I told you they would be free too, but free comes with the price of waiting, be sure you know what you're getting into up front. I held up my end of the bargain. I was having a terrible time in life, almost got fired, not doing well at home, a sob story. No, wait, turn that into a S.O.B. story, come home and you're wanting **** left and right. Stuff I do on the side, not even stuff I sell to everyone! You want your cranks back, fine with me, but i'm supposed to pay the postage? Listen to you all me names, a liar, a thief, etc, and THEN drop $4.60 plus time and packing material to ship you a bait. No thanks. I do appreciate the time you invested in my little endeavor, but please, for future reference, do not constantly ask for things from people, it's annoying. Your part of the bargain was to help me sell, not get free baits. Maybe i'm an *******, maybe not, but a man can only take so much.

zooker - sorry about that, I keep forgetting, job, side job, fishing habit I can't stop, running a club, wife, 3 kids, I tend to push things to the side sometimes, it's not personal.

jb - pnj commended the paint on my jigs, said up front he didn't like rubber jigs, I sent them anyway for an opinion, got one. I picked on him one day (I did say I might be an ******* earlier), and he got bent out of shape. Should be over. I'm not posting every day because of reasons mentioned above. I read sometimes, though.

crankybait - Wassup man? Yeah, dropped a few forums off my must visit list.

everyone else - Miss me?

First off....I did pay for most of the stuff you sent me. There was times when you sent me stuff and wanted pictures (because you decided not to work with the other dude on FF). I held my end of the bargin and took pictures (that you still use) and would have GLADLY sent the baits back to you. I TOLD YOU THAT. Second is the other free stuff you sent me was included in items I PAID FOR. I didn't ask you for them.....I recall asking if you can make me some spinnerbaits....you did and I paid for them (have the reciepts still). You made me an extra one but I didn't ask for it. Why would you even point the finger at me about this. I left you alone for a month about those baits I sent you and now you are saying its my fault! Hell I will send you the 5 bucks right now and you can send me my UNPAINTED baits back. You did offer to do them for free......I never asked you to. I told you I would pay you for it and to let me know what you wanted. I will pull AIM logs on this if I have to prove it to you.

Check your paypal your shipping money is on its way.

Oh and by the way.....PLEASE PLEASE produce the email that states "paint this" I am very anal about keeping conversations (emails and AIM logs) and I do not every recalls sending anything like that to you. I never acted like you were my b!tch and would never treat anyone that way.

Hehe, point is you constantly asked me for things. I mentioned blue baits, you asked for blue baits, etc, etc. Things like this get tiring. I never mentioned you didn't pay for things, I said you asked, and you asked all the time. Go read your logs. I do not have logs, nor will I post private conversations to message boards, goes back to the NDA we discussed, which I decided to not ask you to sign because you seemed to be trustworthy, guess that wasn't a good call on my part, now my email is plastered all over the net, thanks for that. You wanted crankbaits painted, then when I wasn't fast enough, you decided to curse me out on chat. I've got crankbaits here that people have waited 11 months for, and they are not asking me constantly about them. Wait your turn man, no need to call folks names.

I'll send your baits Monday, and yes, they'll be UNPAINTED, yes, I offered to do them for free, but that deal is off, rather than wait for me to get through things I was dealing with, you decided to take action, tell me to **** off, and have a nice life. Classy dude.

You are right....not right of me to post the emails.....I pulled them and I do appoligize for that.

Bottom line was maybe I was too demanding....but ignoring people will do nothing either. I offered to sed you the money to ship them back to me unpainted in July but you wouldn't respond to me....thus p!ssing me off. The anger got the best of me and I cursed you out.....publically I will say I am sorry for doing so.
