I have a pretty nice newer Pfluger spinning reel that when I was out fishing the other day was droped into the water along with my new Gloomis rod.

you've got dirt in it someplace.send it to bps rod and reel repair and let them service it.

The thing is is that it is only a $40 now on sale where I live and I am pretty mechanicaly inclined I can tear it all apart but I see no dirt anywhere

Make sure the “BAIL” didn’t get bent when you dropped it. If it is slightly bent, it will rub and make a slight grinding noise. If so, it is easy to fix. C. Man |

Yea guys I completely tore it apart and one bearing is slightly rusted that is the problem thanks for the advice
