Fall Fishing?????
Left my 6th graders with a substitute teacher and took Dad fishing yesterday... The bite has not picked up the way I would expect this time of year.
My older, wiser Dad says it's because it's "Calendar Fall" but not weather fall  , meaning that it hasn't gotten cool yet here, there are still a lot of bugs, and the water hasn't cooled significantly. It sounds good to me. Anybody else experiencing this? Or am I just a lousy fisherman who can't catch the fall bass .We caught to small (2lb) bass and I caught another nice Northern Pike.
