Air temp was 36 degrees today when jr and I slid the canoe into the ponds, with 10-12mph winds. We managed 2 1/2 hours before we froze. I managed to land two 15 inchers on a sinking rapala - first time I ever used it. Basically I just kind of yo-yoed it, paused, reeled and repeated.
Anybody use this type of lure for colder weather? What else do you use when it is this cold? Jr stuck with a texas-rigged senko and struck out -first time in ages the little guy struck out!!
