Most I ever spent goin' into a BPS or Cableas (or the like) was $79.99 on a clearance Berkley Cherrywood 9' Steelhead rod. Soldotna Tackle and Hardware; Soldotna, AK...

Seriously, I have a "Platinum Rewards Card" at BPS, I just never have figured out how much money you have to spend there in order have one of those cards? I usually use it when I get enough points built up to buy a reel or something like that.

i try to leave the points on mine and build them up, but my wife usually uses them up for me. but she is buying fishing stuff so things could be a lot worse.

I dropped my mom off at the Baltimore airport and on the way back I dropped by BPS because it had been awhile. It cost me 450.00 +gas.
