Hello again Guys. Hopin' you could answer a few questions about smallmouth this time around...
One of the local lakes by my house, Round Lake, is stocked with smallmouth, but numbers are not the greatest. It has very many, fairly steep drop-off's, many going from 10-50' within 15 yds. It also has many good and thick milfoil weedbeds in the Spring-Fall months. It is very clear, probably 10 ft. visibility. We mainly fish here for pike, walleye, perch, and LM, but rarely smallmouth. I want to give it a try; not to many good SM lakes around here. I have only caught two smallmouth out of there in one season. Do you Guys have any tips that would put more smallmouth in the boat? What techniques would you Guys reccommend I try for Spring, Winter, etc.? Thanks in advance, -Lunk-

I would try a tube bait. This seams to be most effective way to fish water like this. This reminds me of Green Lake back home in Wisconsin.

Strange, I've heard the same thing in a few other smallie posts. What's up with smallies and the bubblegum color(s)?
