Default Cabin Fever!

58 days 11 hours & 18 mins. until spring! I'm goin' friggin' nuts here! I just bought a new ride a few weeks back (see pic) and have sold my my old boat (which I loved!) but now I'm stuck here in the N'East in a deep freeze pitching/flipping off a stool in my garage and can only dream of open water...I'm truly jealous of any of you who are still out there fishing strong through the winter..lucky bastards! I've learned a lot of new things from this forum over the past year and many thanks to all of you...seems like a great group in here!..too bad we all couldn't fish together someday..then again I don't know if we would stand a chance against the Zookenstein!!

Zook does'nt bother me. Besides i've nevor been in a boat with anybody that's out fished me. But hey i grew up fishing with Harold Ensley & Fish'N Frank Finson what can i say. Look that's not an Ego it's just confidence in myself & the lures i use. Now i know the Zook will have a rebutal to that. But i bet he'll agree on Confidence thing. Confidence is important to successful fishing. Some have confidence in one type of bait at anytime. Other like myself & Zook & others have confidence in everything we use. People like us are far more dangerous in a tournament. Say like the baitmonkey that will only throw swimbaits. Confidence in yourself & the equitment you use will take you allot further. I so miss my RedMan tournament Day's. I have my third child being born on the 22 of Febuary. Come March i will will be hunting some local tournaments to get back in the swing of things. AKA lilMoose will be back for 08 that's not a threat thatz a promise. So i understand the Cabin fever thing. But for me it's not just the weathor itz also a new baby as well. Zook it's a Joke calm down. But i hope are path's do cross one day in a tournament.

fear no evil arm chair warmers. while you sit and analize your past year fishing.. i will be out sittin off a creek channel fishing while you are debating the weather channel..

cry and protest your situation till your blue. cause my froze in winter bound yankee heathens i too used to live in colder climates.-like buffalo ny- i do recall that we fished alot during the winter even up there..

i fished in every condition from ice fishing in -40 degree weather to standin up to my knees in snow steelhead fishin.. this type determination and willingness to fish reguardless of weather is genetics more than anything..

i work outside year round. so i am sorta climated to the cold..

I can't wait till spring. Although ice fishing does help the cabin fever a bit.

Nice rig. Get a birddog or 3, like me and birdhunt in the Winter or fish for winter fish like stripers, like I used to do then you won't get cabin fever. Anyway, that's a nice rig. Congratulations.
