What's up guys, one thing that really stood out in the recent expo I visited were the Grandt rods...damn these things are nice (and pricey). I also LOVE the fact that they're made right here in the good ol' USA. I was checking out a 6'6 MH XLH70 edition and it had the best of both worlds sensitivity and strength..not to mention lifetime warranty...the rep was a riot and basically told me flat out..we don't care if you run over it or break it over your knee

Heck yeah, I own a Grandt and love it. It's the All American series C76A. I can throw Horny Toads, Spro frogs, c-rigs and pitch jigs and tubes. Between all the Kistlers, All Stars, Shimanos, Carrot Stix and Fenwicks , the rod has the best tip to back bone ratio of any rod I own. If I hit 'em, I got 'em!!

I have a very good friend that fishes on a Semi Pro level and he has been fishing Grandt Rods for several years. He knows how I feel about the Airrus rods and has told me that when I fish a grandt rod that I will put the airrus in the back seat. He as well has fished the Airrus rods so he knows the difference.

I was truly considering an Airrus for my Buzzbait rod. They seem to have an economical price, but good qualities and selection.
What models do you own, Laser? -Lunk- ![]()

I have the CoMatrix series rods and absol;utly love them. I started fishing these rods when they where originally Sirrus rods and have been devoted to them since then. I have several rods from the 6'2" heavy action for up close jigging in the timber to the 7' model heavy for worming flipping and jigging. To cut a long story short ifn ya mess with my Airrus rods consider the fact you gettin a arse whooping. There actions and sensitivity sold me right off the get go and the across the counter warranty is a BIG plus. Thanks to a buddy of mine there is a centurion model 6'6" in the house and even there entry level rod fishes great. In my opinion a $100 rod that fishes this well, has a warranty this good, enough sensitivity that a 50yr ole man can still feel a fly fart at 100yds is the RIGHT rod for me.
