LL, nuthin like Fresh Alaskan Halibut. My sister brought some back from alaska when she went. It's great grilled in a foil pan with lot and lots of butter. Also good grilled with Mayo and Dill.

LL, it was caught. My sister's friend who she went up there with, kinda lived up there past past couple summers and worked cleaning charter boats. When my sister went, the guy he cleans boats for asked him if we wanted to go out as a deck hand. My sister didn't get to go, but she got lots of Halibut. She brought me home one of the big circle hooks they used, it's crazy.

Yeah, I have a couple of them hooks also. 13/0 and about 3 ounces.

I'll try to bring home a jig for you guys. The clown color is very nice, especially at 3 lbs.
