Default Making Venison Brawts

I'm making my own deer brawts using the Hi Mountain kit. It says to cook the brawts in the oven or on a smoker, referring that the brawts will be precooked. Or can I just freeze uncooked brawts and cook them once when I'm ready to eat them? I'm affraid if I precook them, freeze them and them cook them again they will be really dry. Am I understanding this correctly?? Any tips or suggestions on making deer brawts would help! Thanks guys!

Bratwurst is cooked in a pan with 1/2 " of water covered and cooked at a medium heat until the water evaporates. You want to poke a few holes through the casing so they don't burst on you prior to heating.

You uncover them and let them brown down a bit on low heat setting and then add your sliced onion and let them brown up some and then pour a beer in and let it simmer heat for about 5 to 6 minutes.

The Brats can be precooked or frozen , just adjust the instructions to either way.

Personally I would cook all wild game.My friend nearly died from trichinosis from eating bear meat this winter because he did not cook it enough . C-Bird.
