Default South Florida Everglades Bass Fishing Report 5-1-08

We've been out twice this week and check out these largemouth pictures. We landed about 170 fish up to 6 lbs. in 2 days with plenty of 3 and 4 lbers! Everything was caught on plastics like senko's, shakey heads, and trick worms. The bad thing is it's only going to get better over the next 2 months, especially for bigger fish.

All right Capt. Cut it out, you're gonna make a yankee cry!

No that's not it in South Florida waters right now. It's the clouds, wind and anything else that can break up the surface water. The Florida Everglades waters can be quite clear this time of year and our fish can be spooky. Light lines and super long casts are in order unless you're fishing the bottom with plastics!
