when you answer the phone and the first words you hear are "umm don't get mad" it is NOT good news..long story made short a certain mexican woman placed my cannon eos with the 70-300m lens on top of her car and went away down the road.. she walked the road and found it but it is thrashed can ya say HOLY OUCH!!!!! the lens is about $250 the camera is anything but cheap.think i paid $800 for it on e-bay just looked at tiger direct $2100. i hope they can fix it. for those of you who don't know i use 2 cameras on here.

here is the differance

a point and shoot -this is my old hp 407

I did that with a gas cap once, lost the cap and was pissed off. Cant imagine how I would feel with a professional camera.

sucks about the camera Zook, if they can't fix it, have her pay for a new one.

Think of it this way: at least she didn't say, "I'm pregnant!"

My dad and I were driving home years ago and saw a couple of canvas bags lying at the end of a neighbors driveway. He hops out, picks them up and heads towards their house. The bags are really heavy so he looks inside. He tells me to run across the street and call 911. At that time 5-0 just happens to come down the hill. My dad pulls them over and shows them what's in the bag and thinks the house is being robbed. Two minutes later the cops go into the house with guns drawn.
What's in the bags??? 20k worth of gold and silver coins. That was back in the early 80's. Seems the neighbors had friends in town who were going to sell the coins. They placed them on the trunk of the car and rolled out. The bags slid off the car at the street. Poor Mrs. H. was sitting on the sofa when the cops raided the house. Imagine her surprise.
Last thing. The people who lost the coins.....never thanked my father for turning them into the cops. No reward. Nothing.

3d, the Jedi Book of Irony would say that your neighbors' friends were reincarnated as squirrels. One of which has apparently taken a turn for the worse and, logically, has been re-reincarnated as that rabbit in your back yard. The circle is complete- Hakuna Matata.

my girlfriend scott..

yeah actually her insurance is covering most of it. the dam $500 deductible. but it is all good..

the lens they can repair the o-rings are messed up.. i told the guy to use the old glass. something about the old lens just makes the picture look better i had a new one and sold it. the old cannon 35mm lens- they fit- takes the best pictures i have ever seen..

i used my laptop puter and i can't tell the quality differance between the two picture above.. but viewed on the 22" plasma screen on the big puter there is a large differance..
