anything that will dry it out , oatmeal works a little . man got that one time and it got into my bloodstream woke up one morning and my eyes were swelled shut good luck getting rid of it

Talk about hurting. Got into some one time heading out to the deer blind. Looked like the late Mike Tyson after a Ali/Tyson fight. Eyes and cheeks were swelled and puffy as hell.

Seriously, though, Mainer, listen to these guys about the drying out stuff. Give it time, it'll help. As long as you've washed it off well, it won't spread. But the more you scratch at it, the easier it'll be to get infected and that, young Mariner, is a whole lot worse'n what you might imagine.

mix some bleach with water and spread it on with a Q-tip. it will help dry it out.

i get poison oak and ivy really bad and i have to do this all the time.

Don't know of any home remidies. But calamine lotion works wonders. I always keep abottle on hand just incase I don't look before I leap, reach, grab or, worst case senerio, squat.

sorry i didn't reply sooner but no it doesn't really burn. there is a mild sting that goes away pretty quick, this is no crap man you should atleas try it.

i'm not allergic to any of that stuff

but i did have some scratches on my arm and ended up with some poison oak puttin up a deer stand..made some bumps for a week or so .. then just left a nice scar lol

c rig i tried it and it didnt seem to help a hole lot but now im tryin white shoe polish and it seems to help. but tomorro im going to the doctor to get my shots and i think they will end up givin me one of those

Mariner- Don't scratch at it, dude! I got walloped many years ago with a case of poison oak and scratched at it until it got infected. It sucks, man, but it will go away. Good luck, youngin'.
