Ok so Ive had some great sucess fishing dundee and mariner point park out of the gunpowder river. And from what ive learned the best time to fish is high tide. But at the same time its always up and down fishing one day ill have a five fish limit of 25 lbs and then the next day it well be at the highest 10lbs. My question is what is the best time to fish during the tides movement, high, low, ebb, etc. And where are the fish located at the stages of these tides? I mainly fish bridges, peirs, and some grass every blue moon. Thanks in advice Mojo

Ok I can help with this one. There are three factors that need to be looked at. Early Morning or late evening is always good. 10 points each Incoming or outgoing tide helps alot. 6 on incoming and 7 on outoing Cloud cover is the third. 3 points and minus 2 points for sunny days (high pressure barometer) Now add together points for the event cycle. Depends ... Let me try to splain Lucy If you fish heavy cover like pads then yes.. Less places for them to hide and normally they come to the edges and feed. But if fish heavy cover like big grass beds then no.. Grass on high flood tides are best.. If you fish wood then high out going is better. The fish feed up as they move off the wood. I hope this helps.. Capt Mike

Yea and thanks for your detailed respone! I mainly fish the at Mariner/Dundee! At Mariner I well normally fish the brigde and all its pilings but its been kinda slow this year! When is the best time to fish the pilings? Also when should I move away from them I seem to have all of my confidence in them just becasue thats where I have caught all my big tidal bass for the most part ? Is the any advice on what else to fish and when to fish it like docks, the standing grass on the shore, and submerged grass?
