River weekend

Fished both Sat and Sun on the Potomac. Caught fish all day both days with a few short lulls here and there. Sat the bait of the day was the chatterbait with the Paca craw mixed in. I fished mostly grass beds but tried wood with no luck. Today caught fish on a mix of baits: craws, floating worms, topwater, and the chatterbait. We fish grass, creek channels, fallen timber, etc and caught fish on all of them. Once again only a few short lulls during the day. Over all nice weekend on the river. Finished in 5th with 12.5lbs (best day)...not bad .

Here's a pick of the average sized bass caught this weekend....1.75lb range.
