We've been cutting wood here for a week and have plenty of giant cherry trees to cut up the rest of this month, heres life in ohio pics of some of the trees.
Trees here have left this county with no power for a week, 56 crews from electric companies have been called in to restore...we got back power Tuesday,. But many still have no power , food, water, phone, cable. ohio farmland, gotta love it for hunting and plenty of ponds, lakes etc.. Many roads are still unpassable.... Donkey with its head against the wind.... |

I hope everyone is safe. I know my parents in Cinci got hit with some strong winds. No tree damage, just a small fence was blown over. They were lucky.

![]() This was the storm surge I witnessedin Gulf Shores Alabama, some 300 miles from the center of the storm. Several local coastal communities had flooding, and rivers where inundated nearby. My local boat ramp for the fish river is located next to the telephone pole in this pic. The entire parking lot was flooded.

Here on the far Eastside of Indy we were able to maintain our power. The trees sure were swayin!!! I moved my bass boat along side our house away from those dancin trees. Once the wind picked up, there were tree limbs everywhere. Luckily just the small ones. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Familys devastated by Ike!!!
