Default Bass Pro Shops Broken Arrow Ok. vs. Springfield Mo.

I have made many many trips to Springfield Bass Pro and was wandering how many have been to the one in Broken Arrow? Which do think is better or are they about the same? Silly question but just wandering!

i have never been to the one at broken arrow but it won't be near as big as the one in springfield. the one in springfield is the home store and it's the biggest and baddest of them all, glad i only live an hour from it.......the wifes not so glad at times though hahaha. i don't know what you are wanting to buy from there, if it's something common then chances are the one in broken arrow will probably have it. but if it's something a little harder to find then you may have to go to springfield to get it, or order it of their website. i am heading to the one in springfield tomorrow night for another crankbait rod and to load up on some wiggle warts.

My kinfolks live in BA, and I was in that Bass Pro just after thanksgiving.....I get up there once or twice a year, but its been about 10yrs since i've been to the one in Springfield so i'd be hard pressed to give you a size comparison, but what I can tell you that the one in BA is quite a store in its own right.....its a beautiful place with all the goodies....indoor water fall that feeds a trout stream....gots a couple of huge fish tanks...one in the restaurant is saltwater if I remember correctly. Indoor shooting gallery....indoor archery range.....i'm not sure what all else, but I think you could easily spend the day just millin around in the place...I know I could.....Throw in the Tracker boat dealership and the place is huge....best be wearin your walkin shoes...lol

There is a BPS almost within hiking distance from my dwelling. That breeds a LOT of temptation.
I do have one complaint re the BPS stores in general...The lighting, while "tastefully" subdued, makes it tough for some to find the item they seek, especially small items on lower pegs, plus one must spend time groveling on one's knees in order to do so.
That's all. Just wanted to vent a little.

We have 2 Bps in the KCMO area. The Indep. store has the largest retail space of all of them according to manager here. Then there is also the olathe store. Reason for that they came to compete with cabelas. The only thing that keeps ours smaller is we don't have the wildlife musem.
