Default The World Today

As of now, this minute, what annoys you about the world today? Anything, everything, nothing... put it all out there. Thought it'd be a fun way to pass time and share views. Please keep it PG-13 if possible...

For me, probably this Avril Lavigne song my mom is listening to.

JCW,

My biggest bass was caught from shore, 7.67 pounds. Shore-bounders are not idiots... well, most aren't anyway.

1. people who don't know how to drive on snow and ice (i will be glad when this crap melts).

2. playboats and waverunners that stay in the spot you are trying to fish and keep running in circles throwing huge wakes.......idiots.

3. colds and flues, i think i am starting to come down with one right now.

4. cold weather, once deer season closes it could turn spring for all i care.

there is a lot more where that came from, and i intentionally left politics out.

For me the most annoying thing about the world is the lack of responsibility taken for mistakes.
I am fed up with the concept of lowering standards in schools so everyone passes. Increasing team sizes or the amount of teams so everyone makes them.
This is not just a younger generation issue.
The lack of responsibility is what leads to a housing market crash and bail outs. It drove and continues to drive personal debt to levels that just do not make sense.
It leads us as a nation to rush into anything that is viewed as change such as a different president because we would rather be a flock of sheep who hopes that the next shepherd is better than the last.
We as a nation of developed a "We deserve (fill in the blank).
Somewhere we interpreted "Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT of happiness" as meaning we are supposed to have it given to us. What the hell happened to the PURSUIT part?

Funny thing is that I have that quote on a sweatshirt my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas.

It's COLD!! It's darn cold. I don't know why anybody lives in Fargo, ND or even farther north in Winnipeg, MB. It was -14 the other day and it's about 0 right now.

(Hope that didn't offend anybody in the great white north)

right now, like c-rig said, people that don't know how to drive in snow.
And around here, it's like, "Oh my god, I've never seen so much snow, how will I ever get to work!"

Hmm... lots of snow.... lemmie think... oh! I remember! LAST YEAR!!! Seriously, it snows every year, get used to it.

Also, at this very moment, the near 10" of ice covering all the soft water if really pissin me off. I can't wait for spring.

Parents who don't hold their children responsible for their actions....

People who believe self-esteem can be given rather than earned...

People who hold fast to political party lines and never waver, regardless of issue or person...
People who don't recognize the difference between having character and being one...

Liars and cheaters... everybody does once in awhile, I'm talking about those for whom it is a lifestyle..

People who believe all they are told by the media and do little to educate themselves beyond television...

People who say, "Fishing, Really, I don't get it?!?"

People who can't say what they mean and mean what they say.

People who start sentence with "Honestly" or "To tell the truth.."

Designated Hitters in Baseball and morbidly obese NFL lineman.

Any professional athlete who says "It's not about the money" and then bolts to a crappy team for more money...

The Dallas Cowboys, The New York Yankees, and most of their fans...

People who wear gear from a specific sports team, profess to love that team, and cannot name more than two players.
The ungodly overt partisan politics that may eventually cripple the greatest country on earth.

People who talk during the National Anthem.

Virtually every half hour sitcom produced within the last 5 years... "The Office" may be the lone exception.

Anyone over 25 who finds it necessary to boast about what they did in high school.

Raw tomatoes in any form.

I could keep going, but people who over analyze the world and their lives also bother me... Get busy living or get busy dying!!!

Pretty good things you've come up with so far...for me...

I was trying to make some chocolate milk... I opened a new bottle of chocolate and twisted off the cap because I assumed they'd seal it for safety reasons. No seal, so I put the cap back on. I flipped the top off the cap to put the chocolate in the cup and it was constipated and wouldn't go in the damn cup. I looked in the hole and I could see a seal. So I twisted the cap back off and sure enough there was a seal stuck in the cap somehow. I took the cap over the garbage and tried to bang it against the garbage so the seal would come out, but it didn't. Then I tried to blow through the cap nozzle to get the seal out, but rather than the seal flying out, I just spit all over the chocolate bottlecap. So I tried to grab a fork from the dishwasher, but a plate was in the way. I then walked over to the counter to grab a knife and after a minute of trying to pry out chocolate covered mess of a seal, I finally got it out and threw it away. After all that hassle I poured the milk and started mixing, but the milk flew out because there was too much. Now the milk to chocolate ratio sucks, so I guess I'll go pour some more milk. So then I had to waste a paper towel and clean it up.

I'm trying to record bass shows onto my computer, but Time Warner disabled the firewire ports, so I'm screwed now.

That kind of pissed me off, but the thing that I hate most is that I can't go bass fishing for another few months.

People who let their kids crush up cheerios and throw them on the floor in restaraunts. I know they "pay somebody to sweep" but that person is me, and at 9 o clock Friday night, I actually have better things to do than pick up after your punk kid.

No, it is new Buzz Wing....

I am not putting anyone down, last year all but 5 times i fished, i fished from the bank and i caught 100's of fish....nothing huge but...

Someone at my work told me that saying and i was thinking, if you are on a boat like others, not me, and you are not catching anything than atleast you are driving a boat around and looking at different areas, however, if you are on the shore and the fish are somewhere else you can spend all day at certain spots and catch nothing....

where the saying mainly comes in is when you are on a boat catching nothing not everyone knows because you are constantly moving, but if you are on land everyone sees you all the time....

The saying just reminded me of some days i had while fishing this past year!!!

mont, I agree with number four. me and my dad were headed down to BPS, and watched as a school bus, followed by three cars are trying to get on the express way. My dad moves over into the left lane so give the people some room to get on. This idiot comes flying up from behind in the right lane, where the school bus is getting ready to merge into, and fly past the school bus. The bus had to brake and so did all the cars behind it. All cause of one idiot who couldn't wait a few seconds to let a few people merge on.

Kids that are spoiled and their parents never say no!!!

Kids at my freekin high school that won't even STAND UP for the pledge of allegiance!!! it should be legal to punch kids that show no respect for the people that serve and protected our great country for hundred of years.

people who run through red lights.

people that think fishing is "boring"

kids that blame teachers or anyone else for every mistake or any time they fail

poeple that cant drive

people that play the race card for every freekin reason they can think of ... i once had a kid in PE or was such a ball hog that when i didnt pass to him he said i was "racist" (he sucked at bball too)

People say thats its not THAT important to win... yeah sometimes its not.... but dont use it as an excuse because you suck

people that are too serious

teachers that overreact and give impossible test

people that complain about stuff people said just because they dont share thier opinion

people that make excuses

people that think they have a right to make fun of people becuase they are too slow, too short, too fat, not smart enough..... holy crap find something else to do

people that are hypocrites about everything

and a lot of other things like:

kids that text at the dinner table

kids that think their parents should buy them a new mustang when they turn sixteen and dont know how to freekin change a tire

people that say country music sucks

people that complain about EVERYTHING (kind of ironic)

and lastly people that correct everything that is just a little bit wrong (like my brother)
