Unhappy Weather

Well the weather isn't helping out here in Salyersville KY we got hit hard with ice and snow.(More ice than snow) The local hardware store was very busy all but two gas stations lost power and the other two ran out of gas and kerosene. I would guess that 65% of Salyersville didn't have any electric. Did anyone else get hit hard from the weather.

Here in Indiana it looks like everyone north of Interstate 70 only had to deal with the heavy snow. Alot of the southern counties got hit hard with accumulating ice and power outages. One of the marinas on Lake Monroe had a roof callapse on some boats from the weight of the heavy snow, there were no reports of any injuries.

Its a reel mess, I hope everyones alright.

Must be all that Global warming causing all this trouble. I can just see it now. All those carbon footprints in the snow.

We got a lot of Ice too. About 2'' worth with another 3'' of snow. To top it all off it sounds as if we are gonna get some where close to 8 to 12'' next week.

Near 8 inches of snow here. School was closed wednesday, open yesterday, and closed today. (if you're wondering about that, the wind out here is horrible, and blows the snow in drifts across the road. And my school, being out in the country, gets even worse wind, and the small side streets don't get plowed out there. Or plowed very good anyways.

It's all over the news both on tv and on the net. You guys got creamed really bad. More issues with the ice downing power lines and poles then the actual snow removal. Hope all has heat, water, and food till your power goes back on. If not I sure hope that you can get out to some place that has those necessities. Some Bass fishing doesn't seem so important when you're dealing with life threatening issues.

From what I've heard, no loss of power around here. And the only life threatening this is the idiots who can't drive in the snow. Bu tI do know a lot of other areas got lots of ice, and had power outages, so I too hope everyone is ok. I guess we were lucky we only got snow.
