				 | STRATOS OR JAVELIN What is the real differance?

Javelin is the cheaper version of a Stratos. But just how much cheaper? Does cheaper mean a less reliable hull? Are the hulls identical or are they structurally different in any way? Perhaps a different layout or just less expensive bells and whistles. Javelins sure are sharp looking rigs though. How do they handle different water conditions? Thanks |

they have the same hull molds. the only differance is in the interal layout and storage..they have less than the same size stratos the 400 series jav is the same boat as the 201 series stratos..just has one less storage box in the front deck..hence a "cheaper" verison.. zooker

ZOOK gets the cookie on this one but you also need to know that the Javelin is the faster of the 2. They use the same molds.........or I should say that they made the stratos mold and added a few small changes in the running surface to soften the ride. After they perfected the stratos mold they made the javelin mold. SAME length beam etc etc but the changes they made on the stratos mold are not on the javelin mold ........the end result is the javelin will smoke the stratos all other things being equal.
