Default Pb-pb-pb

hit the new PB today..

I was fishin for my small fry to put in my aquairum.. and i saw a big ripple..

i had a texas rigged, weighted... pumpkin finesse worm.. just what yall said..

and i grabbed my knife and a red spinner bait [in clear water] and said "i'm goin to go catch a fish"...

and i chased big bubbles and swirls around for 35 minutes.. and i lost the top half of my reel .. so after i got it back [ i was fishing over bryars] and threw once more before i changed to spinner bait i got a big hit.. but i didnt set it.. i thought it was the moss that seemed to be sucking my lure into itself..

i casted once more and got the hit of a life time.. my new rod popped and cracked and my reel's drag was buzzing like crazy.. and i saw the mouth on it.. way bigger than anything i have ever caught.. my buddy, standing over the spill way heard me say.. DUDE.....IG.. ...ISH...

so he took off runnin.. and i couldnt get through the bryars in shorts and he jumped down there and grabbed it... and i jumped up and down for 30 minutes afterwards..

i was gunna cook it.. i showed it to my grandparents and my dads friend and my dad and they all wanted me to cook it... and i put it in my aquairum... to leak test it.. and it lived.. so i grabbed two knives.. and my head light.. and i went outside and he was in the corner.. looking at me.. and i couldnt do it ... i went soft.. put him on a towel in the back of the truck and let him go..

oh.. and i couldnt find our calculator..

measurements are 18x 11...

one calculator i found said 3.49 lbs

My PB of 09 was also on my new rod, in fact, it was my first fish on that rod, and my first fish of 09!!

I also looked it up on a calculator, I put the dimensions in and got the same weight as you did!

Once again, congrats!

quality is pretty good.. i've got to get it broken in good .. but its a medium action 6'6' and on that fish it bent pretty good.. but it held up well

Today we fished the same pond but in the boat and i had one bigger and when i went down to get it he came out the water.. and the line knot came loose...

i ended up with a 12" jackfish and missed hook sets on a 2.5 jack a 1.7 and 1.5 bass that my buddy ended up getting after me....
