...i guess before too long i'll be lake fishing.. is it worth it to join BASS?

its like 20 bucks a year for BASS insider.. so why not?..

Oh btw, my pops used to be a member! He loved it, but that was when B.A.S.S. was still new...er, don't know what about now!

my boat had a BASS sticker on it.. but then again, you can buy them at the bait shops.. my uncle used to be in it.. when he bought his ambassador new [ the one i cleaned up this summer]

if your looking to join a tourny club alot of them require you to be a member of either flw or b.a.s.s.... last time i was in a federated club you needed a two year subscription to the bass federation..

Ahh, an Abu on an old Lews Speed Stick. My Dad still uses that exact setup for most of his fishing.

im a member and you need it to fish their tournaments and you get their magazines... dont have to be an insider though

Member of both BASS and FLW. Mainly because I enjoy the magazines. Yes, there is a lot of advertising, but there is some good info to be found in both-often in the form of a tip or trick that makes me say "Why didn't I think of that?"
