Default my bassmaster classic experience.

let me start off by saying that this was the coolest thing i have ever done. seeing the classic was an experience that i hope everyone gets to attend who would like to. we took hundreds of pictures so it is hard for me to just put a few on here but i will. here are some of the things that the pics are showing. we had front row seats to both the launch and weigh-in on day 1. day 2 we went to a marina about 10 miles down the lake and got to see the pros fly by. kim bain pulled up and started fishing the bank we were standing on and she talked with us as she fished, then my wife also got a picture with her in the parking lot after the weigh-in on day one......both times kim was very nice and seemed to be handling the pressure with class. in the pics of steve kennedy (captain clunk as i nicknamed him after he opted for the duck boat over his bass boat) getting gas, that is me in the red ranger coat helping hold his boat, this was awesome for me because he is one of my favorite pros. we went to the expo and my God this thing is huge. we walked around for like 5 hours and decided that there was no way we could see it all before weigh-in and decided to leave....on the way out we found out there was a second floor too hahaha. at the expo we seen about every legend there is and more pros than i could ever name so if you are wondering if i seen someone ask because it would be easier than me typing the list (no bama roland martin wasn't there when i was). at the expo we met gerald swindel who was one of the nicest guys i have ever talked with. we also met denny brauer who is my wifes favorite so she got her pic and an autograph. guys i could go on and on so i will just let the pics do some talking for me, oh and that cajun food and southern bbq really had me thinking of moving down there......seriously!

Great story and pics c-rig. I had some great times when they were in Pittsburgh. I met a lot of pro's and they were great. Sorry I forgot my camera.

Default My classic experience with c-rig

Here are some pics I took at the classic. My wife and I went with c-rig and his family.I understand that someone on here knows this young man in the boat with Steve Kennedy. We had an awesome time there and pro fisherman are the only ones you can really get up close and personal with.We met so many.Paul Elias was there.I didn't have him autograph my hat ,cause it was kind of worn. But it was cool just being able to see him.

That's what I thought I heard Gary Klein say on the show, too. But I wasn't sure if I heard him right or he was talking about something else.

here are some more pictures. in the pic at the weigh-in of the truck pulling the boat through the arena, notice that we are in the very front row and probably a hundred yards or so from the weigh-in stage........those seats were awesome.

Great pics! I bet it was awesome!

We had the classic here on the James River like 3 times in a row way back when I was around 15-16 years old. Me and my buds went to the weigh ins and it was pretty cool back then too. Wish they would have it here again!!

C-rig, me and the bandit have been to the classic 3 times ( Charlotte and Lake Wylie-Pittsburg and the three rivers-Greensville and Lake Hartwell). You're not kidding about the experience of being there but what impressed me the most was the willingness of the pros and legends to talk and answer questions.

How did you do with the Baitmonkey?
