I am looking for this special tree , I have no idea what it is , but my friend paid 100 bucks for it. It is a tall , blueish green needled , scraggly pine tree , has branches just jetting out here and there , very little pine cones. Any help appreciated...

I know what you're talking about, they're beautiful trees! I wish I could help you out with name! But I can't sorry!

Blue spruce? Douglas fir? Scotch pine? I did some work with Christmas trees, and it sounds like it could be any of these. Or something else lol

				 | I think I know what you are talking about, its the one on the left, Cannabis sativa. Beautiful tree. For some reason they are hard to get ahold of at the nursury unless you know the right folks.
