Well fellas, I got a call about 2 this afternoon that my Momma passed away. If you get a chance, call your's, and tell her & your Dad how much you love them. My Mom has battled Hepatitus C and a bout of breast cancer for the past 11 years. She had a breast removed and the cancer was gone, but the Hepatitus C stayed at work. She has suffered severely with high ammonia levels in her system for the past year due to a high percentage loss of her liver, that has developed in to Hepatic encephalopathy. She was in and out the other day during a visit, and she kept telling me she was tired and ready to go home. I saw her yesterday and she seemed a little more lively. I took her favorite Easter candy, Heavenly Hash and Starburst, and had a good visit and talk. They say a light burns brightest before it burns out, but her suffering is over and she has gone to be with the Lord. God bless the Mommas.

Bubba, I'm really sorry to hear that. Even with the long sickness, it's got to be tough on you and the rest of the family. You're definitely in my prayers.
And you're right...tell your family you love them every chance you get...might be the last time.

I'm sorry Bubba. I'm sending my prayers and have you and your family in my thoughts. It's hard to lose a parent, nothing really prepares you for it.

Very sorry to hear!

I lost mine a little over a year ago, hard to imagine, but it gets better but the first six months will be hard! It's OK to Greave and if ya want to have a good cry, go for it as it is part of the greaving process.

Sorry bout your loss Bubba......I talked to my momma yesterday....she turned 70 this month and is holdin up better than me.....thank God for momma's.
