Default Lucky Craft RC 1.5's and 2.5 alternatives

Maybe its a confidence thing, but I can't seem to find a better crankbait tha the RC 1.5 and 2.5 square bills for coming through cover and rock etc. The only complaint I have is that they really aren't all that durable. It will only take me 3 or 4 trips or really hammering rip rap and laydowns for the bill to wear down or bust of etc.

So I figured i'd see if you guys can think of any lures that are knock off's or very close in design to the 1.5's and 2.5's that might be alittle easier on the wallet.

WI, I think that the H2O baits from Academy are knock off's of the RC baits.

But are very similar in action, catch fish, and are much cheaper. They are very good alternatives.

yeah I've had the same problem. On one of them I started noticing it felt a little heavier during casting. After closer examination I found the belly had a tiny split and the bait was full of water. I love them for the action and ability to come out of cover but durability is a definite downside, especially for an expensive lure.
