Today I turned 50, and my wife, being the good woman she is, suggested I take the day off from work and go fishing. So I did.

I really would have to take a wild guess at the size of the bass. I'm going to guess around 8 pounds or so. And to think I used to wonder if a 3 inch deep diving crankbait was too big for our area this far up north, lol. This sure put things in perspective!
