Ready to get Snooker'd
We're taking off soon to go snook fishing at the gulf of mexico. I'll be staying in clearwater but just talked to my son who went snook fishing last night under dock lights in st petersburg. He said they are stacked up and take ya for a ride, hope to keep my line off the oyster beds, it shears even braid.
I'll have my wireless laptop with me this trip, so I'll be checking in between brews and dips on the pool. Lifes rough huh LOL one of the locals with a dink ....rofl |

Good luck on the Snook, buddy! They are indeed a blast to catch. Even the 14" ones I used to catch down there were fun. (I actually caught a few keepers in a cast net...had to let em go ). If you want, go after some big Redfish too, and post all the pics!!!!

Have fun. Ill be in Tampa 9-10-11 for the U2 concert. If you feel like heading across the state, The Stick Marsh is only 3 hours away. I know a guy, who knows a guy who has a boat that can fish 3. Has a pretty flexible schedule. Shoot me a email or IM and Ill give you my #. Good luck with the snook, they have been slaying em in Sebastian Inlet and off the beach.

Yeah good fishing over there go to lighted docks at night for a good shot and freeline a live pilchard or live finger mullet and the snook are killin em'. We been getting them at sebastian inlet more than anywhere though. Use 40 to 50 pound FC leader if its clear. Never caught a dink in sebastian either. usually 30 inches plus.
