Default Lake Anna

Fished a small tournament on Lake Anna Saturday. Only 9 teams in it. My buddy and I finished 2nd with 8.40 lbs. 11.75 won it. We lost 2 fish late in the day that would have put us right there but they lost a 6 lber too so... Another guy just fun fished by himself and had 18.04 lbs. He caught some nice fish! We caught most of our fish on Flukes and 2 on a shakey head. My buddy was catching them on a double fluke rig. We caught around 20-25 total with most of them being 12-13" fish. Fun day though!

Up or down? Were they schooling or did you find them relating to specific cover? Sounds like you had a good day.

2nd out of 9? I'd take that. Nice job!

3D,

They were schooling in the back of creeks in about 3'-5' of water. We stayed between Pidgeon and SCM. Never went above or below. You would see some bait flicking the surface and a fish would bust them once in a while. It wasn't explosive by any means. Action was best later in the day after it warmed up some.

It'sabout time they got into the backs of the creeks. Took a couple extra weeks this year. It's a good pattern when it happens.

Richmond show is coming soon!
