Default Sick...

And ticked off! I have had some kinda bug in my chest for about five days. It's kept me indoors, and away from the water. my last time out was when I used my new caster rig for the first time, and I didn't catch any fish then. This thing started that night. Not sure what it is, but I am this close to going to the ER if I can't stop coughing.

Been doing that so much that every muscle involved in the process hurts like hell. My throat is all tore up, my lungs feel bruised, and I can barely draw a deep breath. Most times I try I just end up in another coughing fit. At least I've got some meds.

So far I have rearranged my boxes three times, retied all of my t-rigs (I pre-rig them), sort ALL of my hooks. Even the miscellaneous pile. Oh yeah, and I finally tossed out all of those true turns. I don't know how many times I have laid in bed pretending to cast with my new rod, and even my old UL. I even have an old UL Microspin that I have just been cranking and cranking.

I may be going nuts here.

You need to hit up the doc man. Sounds like broncitis. I get it almost every year. Allergies seem to get it started and for about two to three weeks, I can't breath or talk without having to cough. Drives me nuts.

Hope ya feel better soon.

Okay, let me say this diplomatically. Neither of you guys would have the nickname "Tiny" unless it was a joke. I'm right there with you. I used to get bronchitis every single year, like clockwork, until the doctor figured out I had sleep apnea. Now, oddly enough, where I am not sucking wind through my mouth while I sleep, I don't get it any more.

If you have not been checked for apnea already, please do so. A sleep study is a real pain in the butt, but it is really worth it.

Same here Bryce, sleep study is the best thing that happened to me. Apnea is very dangerous and a lot of people don't know about it or choose to ignore it.

I've thought about getting checked for sleep apnea cause I do rattle the house when I sleep and rarely can sleep more than a couple hour at a time. And as you said, the ladies don't call me "big D" for the reason I like to tell people.

Gonna have to go have that checked.

I just got the yearly allergy cough. I also got a "gasmask" machine this winter. Do you guys that use full masks find they work better? I have the one that covers the nose and I open my mouth during the night so I don't get full benefits. I also am now getting used to it and put it on every night.

Thanks for all the love guys...

I am actually feeling much better today. I still can't exert myself too much, and the cough is still going strong, but I can breath much better, and I don't feel weak. I am not quite ready to hit the water yet, but if things keep going like this i should be out there this weekend.

I can't wait!

As for the apnea thing. Never had an issue with it, and I am a big dude too. I went through really bad allergies in march and April, but that cleared up before May. I am really not sure what caused this one. It's a bit of a mystery, because there was no lead up. I was just sick one day.

You could get your lips pierced and sew it shut every night.

Just joking. My nephew has the same one you have. His biggest problem is it getting knocked off his face while he sleeps.
