zook's cooking again!!!

just a lil tease since i have not even fired up the grill yet.. but on tap for the grill this evenin is a chicken,shroom,bacon,cheese,pepper,and onion on a toasted oinion bun.number that will blow your mind...

i just got back from shopping in winston hit the old world meat market while i was there...got a sweet deal on some 2" thick steaks for another time.i had "pops" slice me a whole fresh honey cured pork belly-5 pounds- 1/4"+ thick cause bacon is mans second best friend.

get da bibs on..

ok lets start this sand wich with some bacon..fryin it it is 1/2 cooked.. adding the chicken breast to the grill.. and cover with bacon...

yes it was fried in the skilt on the grill..

after 20 mintues of cooking. i bring out the veggie plate.. thats an orange bell pepper,vandalia onions, and whole top potabello shrooms..

after the shrooms get almost cooked i flip an add swiss chesse.enter buttered onion rolls..i would love to try this with a hogie roll..

now this is not one of the easiest sandwhichs to lay into..cause even my pie hole don't open this big...slicing it in 1/2 is a required act...

OH MY GOD!!! this sucker was off da hook.. i could eat one of these and lay in the shed with some red sticky ham and a mint julip for three days straight. i tell ya boy this mother is going to happen AGAIN....

ow look gang. ol zooker CALLS me and TELLS me about this as lisa and i are IN wally world buying GROCERIES! no i didn't get the same stuff to make this sammich...but i DID get a few things form the deli to make me a sammich fer tommorie (tomorrow for you northern brothers). now i also got a few other things too. gonna have me some HOMMADE ICE CREAM too. now ya'll can astart hating me now, think aobut it ALL night gang. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I picked up a 6lb chicken and a whole rack of pork ribs the other day. Got a sweet deal on them! I'm thinking about firing up the smoker here real soon. But I'm never home on the weekend to spend the time to smoke them.....

What type ice cream you making? I like strawberry this time of year! Got to put my ice cream maker bowl in the freezer and get it real cold.

I have picky tastes so no mushrooms, no green or red peppers (but Jalepeno is fine), no onion anything...

but the chicken, ham and bacon sounds great!!

May be time to make a type of Cordon Bleu using the chicken, ham, cheese and bacon.
