Default Not to be reduntant

But I went to another forum that I have posted at in the past and the first thing I noticed was a message from the moderators telling the members to save them the time and just tell them if they want to be banned . Seeing that just kinda blew me away as I could not even see something like that happening here . Just wanted to thank everyone for making this site home to so many of us and to Kevin for keeping this place running so smoothly , as has been said in the past you can't find a better group of anglers on the web

Jim

This is the only forum I've ever been a part of that didn't have a ton of drama. I know Kevin keeps an eye on things but there aren't any moderators, per se. Threads don't get shut down and people don't get banned, to my knowledge anyway. You won't find a better collection of people anywhere.

When I first started bass fishing I mainly used three forums. Quit one, hardly post on another and live here. Best site you can find. What I like is not to many smart azz answers to people who don't use the search feature. Not too many spelling and grammer nazis here either. The guys with good knowledge are quick to respond to many questions. Home sweet home.

I agree 100%. I have gone to several forums but this one is home. Just a good bunch of guys sharing info and having a good time. That is what makes this forum so good-it is the people!

Over the past several months, some real bad things have happened to members of this forum or their families. Everytime, the men and women on this forum have stepped up to the plate to show support for those who need it. I don't think that you will find that in many other sites. I have had the privilage to meet a few these people last year at Kentucky Lake.
Although I was not able to spend but a few hours with them due to a heavy patient load, I quickly saw that this was a special group of people. I agree with an earlier post, if an website can be "home," this is it.

Yeah I agree that this site is the most friendly of any site I have ever been to. We may but heads once in a while but for the most part we all get along really well.

On another site I go to I saw something that blew me away. One guy was getting picked on by other members for his point of view on something. They were all ganging up on him and just being brutal to this guy, then a moderator joined in and helped them gang up on him. I mean come on dude, a moderator helping gang up on this member rather than help solve the problem. Don't have to worry about that here.

Yeah, other forums are weird sometimes. A lot of the mods get real trigger happy and throw there power around like a bunch of d-bags just because they can. Not saying this is true with all forums.. just ones like *cough*bass*cough*re*cough*source*cough*

Best forum on the web right here.

I'm still relatively new here, but I find I can agree with almost all the sentiments reflected in the above posts for this thread. I believe that being tolerant is the key to the success of this forum. We can all express opinions and sometimes strong ones, but as a group, we seem to manage to recognize the rights of other forum members to have their opinions as well.

When I first joined this forum..Everyone made me feel so welcomed...Ill never forget that...The people here make it so I dont care to be on other bass fishing sites.
And I graze a few local ones....But it doesnt compare to this....Not even close.

I am a member on probably 6-7 different forums, half of which I haven't been to in months.

I'm on here the most of the few I still visit. Next would be TackleTour's Forums for most of my gear related talk. And a local forum with some of the guys I fish with around here. I get on an Ohio forum once in a while, but I don't really like it there much.

I probably fish less than anybody on this forum and yet I still stop in regularly. That is a testament to the type of people here!
