or a Muddy Waters Fan, I hated both Elvis and the BEeatles.......still can do without them I grew up then and I loved Little Richard, The Killer,Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Professor Long Hair Ike and Tina,Muddy and Howlin Wolf;;;; the originators, not the imitators

........the blues had a baby and they named it rock and roll [muddy waters/johnny winters}

Im with Ebbets guy on this one... muddy waters, howlin wolf, john lee hooker, buddy guy... bein a guitar player, i love nothing more than Blues guitarists...

if you want a good show to watch look up and try to find Bill Wymans Blues Odyssey... yes bill wyman as in The Rolling Stones Bill Wyman... its an incredible documentary on Blues players in teh 50's and 60's

With that said... Elvis may not have had as much musical impact as he did cultural impact. He did take taboo staright into the living room of americans on national TV and THAT is what made him the Icon he is today... I freely admit that i do indeed have a lot of Elvis in my Ipod...

Sirus has a station just for the big E and Dish Network carries it. It's in the 6100's if you have Dish.
